Igudesman performs solo show in Austria
One of the rare performances of Igudesman’s solo show “From Russia With Love” will take place in Bad Schallerbach, Austria on the 6. of october 2011. Aleksey takes us to his homeland and then around the world with his own arrangements and humorous compositions for solo violin, and a stand-up like routine you’d never expect from a violinist. Zimmer & Igudesman win Grand Prize at Rhode Island International Film Festival
Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman were announced as the winners of the Grand Prize for the Best Original Music Composition at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2011, for their joint work on the documentary “Jealous of the Birds”, by the director Jordan Bahat. On the 9th of June at 17:00 in the beautiful Althrop Estate, just outside of London, Aleksey Igudesman performs film music together with Hans Zimmer, John Powell, Lorne Balfe, Tina Guo, Ann Marie Calhoun, members of the London Symphony, etc. Althorp is clearly signed as you approach Northampton from Junction 16 of the M1. Rusanda Panfili will work with the violinists of the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra on a Latin choreography for Aleksey Igudesman’s piece “Uruguay” for Violin, Voice and Orchestra. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO. “Uruguay” will be the last number of “A Crazy Night in Verbier”, conceived and moderated by Igudesman on the 31st of July 2011, as the closing concert of the Verbier Festival. The Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra will be conducted by Gabor Takasc-Nagy with Andrei Pushkarev on drums and percussion. This a simple Russian dance choreography, Aleksey Igudesman is show togezer with Rusanda Panfili, who play violin and make choreographer for “Crazy Night in Verbier”.
