ASSORTED POEMS
From “Pigs can Fly” published on Universal Edition:
LET THE PIGLET GO!
Stuck in his cage, so full of rage
He tries to grope a long-lost hope
A lonely stare, eyes of despair
He can not cope, there is no scope.
The open door, he waits no more,
With all his might he takes to flight
He runs past men, ignores the hen
Way out of sight, into the night.
But they catch up, he’s in a trap
Around him sound, a growling hound
End of the street, so many feet,
Now he is bound, tied to the ground.
Only your voice; “It is my choice,
To let him flee, because you see,
This fiesty swine, is mighty fine!”
They all agree and let him free!

From the “Catscratchbook”, published on Universal Edition:
NIGHT CAT
He wandered the streets alone at night
Avoiding the lanterns and dodging the light.
His shadow would rise like a tiger’s in height,
He’d look straight at you and his eyes would shine bright.
The back bent to pounce, paws preparing to fight,
Next moment, no warning, he’d be out of sight…

From “Poems about Love and Hate” (not published yet):
DREAMS
When my spirit is a biscuit,
In a wheel trim’s fine disguise,
I should maybe simply risk it
And just say that dreams are lies!
Do you really think I ought to
Take a bath in strawberry jam
Which my grandma’s auntie bought to
Eat on toast with turtle ham?
Then I’m flying over Finland,
Naked in a see through bag,
On my head some frozen Gin and
In my nose a Spanish flag!
I wake up and think its over
Turn around to hold you tight
Suddenly I’m in Hannover
Schumann sitting by my side.
He turns into Michael Jackson
Lying on a silver tray
Jumping up, he turns his fax on
Out comes Billy Holiday!
Mr. Freud, say what you like,
By this time I had enough,
Riding on my motor bike,
Which turns out to be your glove.
So, I take your little hand
Close my eyes and think of you
Imagining us in Turkish sand
Only real dreams are true!
MY LOVE FOR YOU
My love for you
Is like a three day flu
On the first day I cry in pain,
Missing you drives me insane
On the second day sadness kreeps in
I drown it with bottles of Gin
On the third day I feel pretty numb
How could I fall for someone so dumb?
