Aleksey Igudesman ist ein in Russlands und Englands Talentschmieden geschulter Geiger vom Feinsten. Seine klassische Karriere war eigentlich nicht mehr aufzuhalten. Aber er hat Humor, sehr viel Humor. So viel, dass er eine neue Konzertform schaffen musste. Eine Mischung aus ernster Musik und hoch komischen Geschichten. Aleksey takes us to his homeland and then around the world with his own arrangements and humorous compositions for solo violin, and a stand-up like routine you’d never expect from a violinist. Zimmer & Igudesman win Grand Prize at Rhode Island International Film Festival

Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman were announced as the winners of the Grand Prize for the Best Original Music Composition at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2011, for their joint work on the documentary “Jealous of the Birds”, by the director Jordan Bahat.
