Aleksey Igudesman ist ein in Russlands und Englands Talentschmieden geschulter Geiger vom Feinsten. Seine klassische Karriere war eigentlich nicht mehr aufzuhalten. Aber er hat Humor, sehr viel Humor. So viel, dass er eine neue Konzertform schaffen musste. Eine Mischung aus ernster Musik und hoch komischen Geschichten. Millionen von Fans auf der ganzen Welt verzeichnet er seither auf Youtube. Er benutzt Musik aber nicht als Hintergrund für Kalauer. Zimmer & Igudesman win Grand Prize at Rhode Island International Film Festival

Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman were announced as the winners of the Grand Prize for the Best Original Music Composition at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2011, for their joint work on the documentary “Jealous of the Birds”, by the director Jordan Bahat. Rusanda Panfili will work with the violinists of the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra on a Latin choreography for Aleksey Igudesman’s piece “Uruguay” for Violin, Voice and Orchestra.
